BRIAN LESTITION It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of our dear Brian Lestition, age 60 of Beausejour, MB. Wife to Marlene, father to Brett, Patrick (Sara) and granddaughter Julie his pride and joy. Leaving to mourn his memory are brother Mervin (Susan) of Burlington, ON and Joanne (Richard) Dyson of Ottawa, ON and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Mary Lestition. Brian was born on February 7, 1947 in Brandon, MB. He attended Brandon University and earned his Bachelor of Education degree. He served as a devoted and dedicated Grace 6 teacher with Agassiz School Division for 30 years. In his retirement he enjoyed working for Elections Manitoba and substitute teaching for River East School Division. Found memories of him include a six week camping trip to Europe with his wife during their first year of marriage. He enjoyed hiking and fishing excursions with his family in the Whiteshell and the Canadian Rockies. With strong family ties, there were also many car trips to visit his parents in Brandon and relatives in Saskatchewan. Brian was a nurturing and loving father who was proud of his two sons. He was a kind, gentle and caring person who never hurt anyone in his life. He was devoted to his family and would offer his advice and assistance wherever he could. He enjoyed going for car rides and spending time with his family. He is deeply missed. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 26 at St. Mary's Church (at the Corner of Atlantic Avenue and 3rd Street South) in Beausejour with a family graveside service to follow. Tea will be served at the Beausejour Brokenhead Recreation Complex and everyone is welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Canadian Red Cross. All the rivers flow into the sea, yet the sea is not full. Ecclesiastes 1.7
